David Hearle
David is a very well recognised in International Development as a M&E specialist with 31 years experience in Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, Australasia and The Middle East. This experience as a Project Director, Team Leader, Consultant and Trainer covers numerous short and long term assignments for many of the UN agencies, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, numerous bilateral donors, NGOs and corporations. Sector experience includes Policy, Water, Natural Resources, Engineering, Poverty, Environment, Health and Education.

For 10 years, David was Managing Director of IMA, and provided the leadership and management that made IMA a leading development agency that has provided development training and consultancy services to individuals from 124 countries. As an educator and trainer he has directed over 100 international courses for IMA that have taken place at IMA Centres in Australia, UK, Thailand, Malaysia, Kenya and South Africa. David is very skilled in the production of user friendly reports.

 

Lesley Williams
Lesley specialises in organisational development and capacity-building for government organisations, in particular TNA, CD and Strategic Planning, and M & E. Lesley also has expertise and a strong practical background in gender research and analysis, and CBE and ToT. Further, while a significant amount of her work is related to the government sector, she also has considerable experience in education, health, and rural development. Lesley’s recent assignments include as International M & E Advisor to an ADB-funded government health programme in Indonesia, TOT in Competency-based Education and Curriculum Design; developing a TVET CBE Manual, and facilitating Mid-term Planning and LogFrame view for a REDD Programme in Indonesia; and designing a draft PIME framework for the Ministry of Women’s Development of Pakistan.

Lesley comes to the development sector with a strong practical and academic background in capacity-building, research, and planning. Formerly, she was a Director (BoD) of an NZ-government company, appointed by the NZ Government during a period of State sector reform. Lesley was also a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management and Marketing in New Zealand, as well as briefly in Malaysia and Indonesia. Lesley is a qualified trainer (Diploma with Merit), and she holds a Doctorate (PhD) based on SME development in Indonesia) and a 1st Class Honors Degree focusing gender and SMEs.
